Enjoy a summer of free outdoor music at Oakland Township Parks & Recreation’s Music in the Meadows concert series! Held in three parts—June, July, and August—this annual event features a variety of new musical acts each year. The concerts are set in two beautiful park locations: Bear Creek Nature Park (June and August) and Cranberry Lake (July). Bring your friends, family, and a blanket for a relaxing evening of live tunes surrounded by nature!

School’s out, summer’s on! Each year on the last day of Rochester Community Schools, Oakland Township Parks & Recreation celebrates the start of summer with our annual Summer Kick Off event. Families can enjoy an afternoon of fun featuring inflatable bounce houses, games, prizes, face painting, and other exciting activities. It’s a great way to celebrate the end of the school year and kick off summer with friends and family. Our 2026 Summer Kick Off has concluded. Thank you to everyone who joined us!
