Acquired in 2001, this 96-acre park is located west of Adams Road, between Clarkston and Stoney Creek Roads. Most of the park consists of rolling meadows and a large wetland complex.
Marsh View Park is a Oakland Township’s activate recreational destination offering activities for all ages. The park’s archery range opens for classes and open shooting opportunities throughout the season (April through October). The park’s athletic fields serve as a hub for local soccer organizations and host a variety of youth sports camps.
The sports court is open for public use, and serves primarily as a fenced-in full basketball court but can also be a versatile practice space for other activities as well. In addition to its recreational facilities, Marsh View Park offers a picturesque natural setting, featuring scenic overlooks and peaceful walking trails on the north end of the park. Visitors can enjoy a picnic at the park’s pavilion, access drinking water, and use the convenient modern restroom facility. The Oakland Township Archery Range is a premier facility offering a welcoming and inclusive environment for archers of all skill levels. The range features a 90-meter shooting distance and is fully ADA accessible. The range offers a variety of opportunities, including archery lessons led by certified instructors.
Open shooting times provide a flexible option for recreational practice, while team archery programs foster camaraderie and competition. Additionally, the range hosts the Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD) program, designed to support young archers in developing their skills through structured training and competition.
