1015 Inwood Road
Rochester, MI 48306
This 90-acre park was acquired in October 2005, with a generous portion of its value donated by Lee and Jean Draper. It is located between Inwood and Parks Roads, west of Dequindre Road. This park protects the easterly Twin Lake, rolling topography, open wetlands, and prairie plantings.
The park has great potential for recreational activities, including fishing, cross country skiing, hiking, and horseback riding. A 0.4 mile limestone path leads to a dock on the south shore of Twin Lake. Parking to access the limestone trail and lake is available at the intersection of Hadden and Inwood Roads. Over a mile of mowed paths on the east side of the park provide excellent routes for bird and wildlife observation and create a connection between Inwood Road and Park Roads. Parking to access the eastern mowed trails is available at the park maintenance garage on Inwood Road.
